EB Metering Panel Board
Provides a safe, secure, and tamper-proof enclosure for the Energy Meter used by the Electricity Board for accurate billing of consumption.
Protection: Integrates protective devices to safeguard the electrical system and users from faults.
Typically fabricated from Mild Steel (MS) or Sheet Metal, often with CRCA (Cold Rolled Close Annealed) Steel for robustness.
Coated with Epoxy Powder Coating after proper pre-treatment (like 7-Tank process) for enhanced durability, corrosion resistance
Includes main protective elements like KIT KAT FUSE, Switch Fuse Units (SFUs), Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs), EARTH LEAKAGE CIRCUIT BREAKER (ELCBs) for each service line to protect against overloads and short circuits.
- Busbars - High-conductive Copper or EC Grade Aluminum Busbars are used for efficient distribution of power within the panel.
- Neutral & Earth Terminals - Separate Neutral Busbars and Earth Busbars/Terminals are provided for safe grounding and protection against electrical hazards.
- Sealing Provision - Provision for utility sealing on the incomer, busbar, and meter compartments to prevent unauthorized access and tampering with the meter or wiring.
- Viewing Window - Often includes a Toughened Glass or polycarbonate window to allow utility personnel to easily read the energy meter without opening the main enclosure.
- Mounting Type - Available as Wall-Mounted (surface-mounted or recessed) or Floor-Mounted (for large panels).
- Available for Single-Phase (220V/240V) or Three-Phase (415V/440V) systems.
- Common values are 415V AC for three-phase and 230V AC for single-phase.
- Varies widely based on application, from 32A, 63A, 100A, 200A for residential/small commercial up to 500A or more for large industrial/multi-service panels.
- Number of Services/Meters: Panels are designed to accommodate a specific number of individual service connections (e.g., 2-service, 6-service, 20-service, etc., typically in apartment or commercial complexes).
- Specifies protection against dust and moisture ingress. Common ratings include IP33, IP54, IP55, or IP65, depending on whether the box is for indoor or outdoor use.
- Designed and manufactured as per the standards and guidelines of the local Electricity Board (EB) or relevant regulatory bodies
- Tailored Enclosure Dimensions - Fully customizable Width, Height, and Depth to perfectly fit specific installation spaces and accommodate required internal components
